Application Information for the Shasta Growers Association's
Certified Farmers Markets
 
All Applicants (agricultural, craft, food, etc.). If you are applying for the first time for membership in the Shasta Growers Association, you will want to read: (please click on the title for link download)
 
Guideline Criteria for New Applicants
 
 
After you read those documents, you may download and fill out the
SGA Probationary Application
 
and mail it to: Shasta Growers Association - P.O. Box 990187 - Redding CA 96099-0187.
As we explain in the "letter", it may take several weeks for your membership to be approved or disapproved, and you maybe offered a limited list of markets at which to sell, depending on whether we have openings in our Saturday (or other) markets.
 
If you have never sold a product in an open-air setting, our
 
 
offers you a lot of ideas about equipment and materials you'll need to set up your booth. Remember being able to secure your canopy in the wind is mandatory!
