Assures the customer that the produce being offered for sale was grown or produced by the grower.
This assurance is made by the Department of Agriculture through whom the farmer must file an
Annual Producers Certificate and be subject
to inspection for verification.
Some of our farmers are either registered Organic by the State or Certified Organic by a private
Certifying Organization.
Farmers markets are the best place to buy fresh, wholesome, locally grown produce at a reasonable
price.
Our mission is to provide local family farmers a market to sell their fresh and wholesome agricultural products directly
to consumers and to promote a healthy lifestyle within our community.
Farmers' Market WIC coupons accepted at all of our markets.
EBT cards can be used at our Saturday Farmers Market only at this time.
Tokens can be redeemed at all Shasta Growers Farmers'
Market.
Due to Health Codes NO PETS allowed in the market.
